Elders with Roots CIC is a Leeds-based, not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to empowering older adults, especially those of state pensionable age, to live independently with dignity.
Who We Are
Elders with Roots CIC is a Community Interest Company, a not-for-profit organisation set up to benefit the community, especially those of the state pensionable age of 66. Our aim is to help elders stay independent, access the support they're entitled to, and improve their quality of life.
We believe that every person has an ethnicity and a story, and that no one should be excluded from support. One of our core values is to reach out to individuals who are socially excluded or from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that equality, fairness, and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.
What We Do
We offer free or low-cost, culturally appropriate, person-centred advice and support to help older adults meet their full entitlements, improve well-being, and stay connected.
